Running Swans are members of Gamma Phi Omega International Sorority, Incorporated (Gamma Phi Omega) who share a passion for running and philanthropy. Combining these interests, members train for and participate in races while raising funds for the American Diabetes Association and other various philanthropic endeavors. The training not only provides preparation for each event, but also emphasizes healthy living that our members use to motivate others to get moving.
Running Swans are of every experience level, from those preparing for their first 5K race to marathoners. While they participate in several races throughout the year, regular events include the Rock n’ Roll Chicago Half Marathon held every summer and the Ragnar Relay.
Congratulations to our 16 Running Swans that participated in last weekend’s Chicago Marathon!
